My first RPG happened yesterday. My character lived up to her surname (Fool of a) Took by showing my glowy Sting-ish blade really well for the orcs to see. D'oh! I used a background point to roll for more gold and I got 120 extra gold pieces. In the Middle Earth Role Playing game we're using, that's a whole lot of money. I could have bought an elephant. And still had lots of money left over. Luckily I've been traveling with a very nice dwarf named Ori(pteropod) who is much stronger than I am and might be able to protect me from brigands who want my gold.

This is so much fun in an incredibly geeky way.

In more unsettling news, I think I annoyed my favorite professor by not following directions for a project I uploaded this morning. I just got a bit carried away by adding rollovers to a web site prototype when he "emphatically stated no graphics". He sent the link to the instructions for the project too. This was always my biggest problem in school - if I got a bad grade, it was only because I rushed and didn't read the instructions correctly. I feel very stupid. Oh well.

einini has an RPF kicking around in her head. As have I. If she's brave enough to write it, I will be, too ;)

Heh, welcome to my RPG world. At present I play hm - Buffy and Angel, DnD 3.5, Vampire and Hunter. Oooo and Heroes. I've played Hackmaster. I married an RPG geek and he's sucked me into his world ;) I even run the Buffy games now :P

Hee hee hee hee hee. :) Still, it all worked out well enough, now didn't it? Except for that candelabra, oh well.

As we go, we shall learn. And I've done enough skimming now to have come up with a better role model for Indil's personality, which is good as I don't like basing her on Elrond, I really don't.
