Return of the King on the Imax is powerful, although after watching commentaries on how stuff was done, I noticed a few things. Then I pretended I'd never heard how stuff was done, and all was fine. Well, except for poor silveraspen - she bawled like a baby through the whole thing ;) And it was her third time to see it (my fourth)! Faramir and Denethor got her started, you see, and then she just couldn't stop. I failed her - usually I have extra tissues to provide her, but not this time. nanchita was with us, and she was amused. I will admit - I even cried at the end this time. I hadn't done that yet, but the story was so big and the sounds were so intense, it just got me. I think it's mostly because I finished my reread of the book - it's such a good story. And a damn fine movie.

I am still unwell - the worst of the allergy attack has subsided, but now it's taking the familiar route from sinuses to lungs. Cough cough cough. I'll be okay though.
