We had a sudden, unexpected snowstorm today - I was almost caught in it. From the time it took to drive from a friend's house (where the roads were just wet) to scurry into the grocery store to get dinner and food for the week (took about 15 minutes), the roads were covered and slick. Crazy.

Watching the Golden Globes now. Hee, hee - I love me some award shows. Christina Ricci looks lovely. Elijah is adorable in a dark green tux/suit. Don't love Nicole's dress, and Catherine Zeta Jones looks rather dull, though still pretty. I am amused that with extra poundage, Renee Zellweger looks normal. Her dress is pretty, too. Ooh, now Robin Williams is on with a very dapper suit with ascot. Ah, celebrity fashion, how I love thee.

I read an article on it in the travel section today and sigh...
I now have a dream vacation. I would dearly love to take the Queen Mary 2 to England and back. how swanky. And it's such a classy, old fashioned way to travel.

I am not ready for the week. Especially not to drive in the yucky weather in the morning. WAH! My second class begins tomorrow and oh geez, from the online syllabus, this one looks like a doozy. I have sadly gone through my friends list and pared down a bit. No offense meant to anyone, but stupid real life interferes with fun.


On a much happier note, a most wonderful of birthdays to resmiranda!!!!
