I finished Guards! Guards! tonight. I love Capt. Vimes. With much ooey, gushy love.

In rereading LotR (I've been reading quite a bit this evening), I am up to Bree and the Prancing Pony (which was so much more pleasant a place than in the movie - grr). Aragorn has just come into the scene, and wow, does he look like Viggo's version now. It's funny - the humans and the elves are showing up in my brain as the movie versions, but I still can't get a focus on the hobbits. I know what Pippin looks like, a little, but the others are blurry. Curious, huh?
I have no plans for my three day weekend, but I wrote out the first outline for an original work during an insufferable "training" (ie "this is what you guys are supposed to do now cos I say so") this afternoon. I'm a little excited.
