So littlemcamy wrote her first slash ficlet. I am in the process of writing my first. You evil slashers have finally infiltrated my brain. I even saw megaslash in "Master and Commander". And (gasp) I liked it. Wah! What have I become! :P
The Simpsons last night made me laugh out loud several times. And it also made me open my mouth in surprise and say "How did they get by with that?" It makes me happy that any show can do that after being on air so long. Happy happy.

Date: 2003-11-24 08:56 pm (UTC)I always saw the slash in My Fair Lady ("Not all men are confirmed bachelors like the captain and myself, Eliza..."), but was rather confounded to see it addressed in quite that way in quite that forum at quite that hour of the evening! When you're animated, you can indeed get away with a great deal.
I was also rather amused that although I went in knowing that JKR and Ian McKellan were going to be on the show, it had somehow escaped my attention that Tony Blair, the SITTING PRIME MINISTER, did his own voice. At least they didn't get the Queen as well...
