School Hard
Sep. 4th, 2003 09:25 pmBut.. but I liked the ugly clutter on the comments pages ;) Seriously it came in handy. Other than that, I'm fine with the new design.
Man, I know school will get easier once I find a clue. I am dangling in vague land waiting for the lightbulb to go on. It will, and then it will be cool, but till then, I have a deer in the headlights feeling. Thankfully the professors are very nice, and obviously used to people who've been out of school for awhile who need concrete examples of just what this article review that's due Wed. actually needs to look like ;)
I also have to start on a professional development plan stating my long term goals. Which are also very vague and seem to consist of making lots of money doing something not involving herding children through a school year. I don't think that'll fly ;) Seriously though, I'm not sure what to do. I'd like to travel, I'd like to train people to do software - maybe even consult on the design of software, and designing on-line classes might be fun but other than that, my hopes are unformed. And the PDP can change, so it's okay to start off with one idea and switch to another. Anybody work in training/instructional design out there who'd have some advice?
The kids started this week. Now I'm really tired. I have a bunch of babies in one class and a few squirrels here and there, but no seriously out of control kids. Thank god.
Despite being so busy, I actually have a hankering to write. Maybe this weekend. Off to catch up on Friends.
