Seriously. If you're like me, you're staring at that sign-up e-mail going, "Ahahahaha, I have no idea what the other three are, but I think I can do something with that fourth one. I think." Or maybe you're lucky and you already have an idea about what you're doing.
I've participated in Yuletide since the first year, and I've been utterly delighted every year. If you have your fic proofread and if you have good character voices, I'll be happy as a clam.

Here are things in general that I enjoy in a fic:
- Relationships that make sense - I'm not really a slash fan, but I will adore a well-written slash pairing that makes sense.
- Romance - I am a goofball romantic. However, I am a fan of dark fic, as well. Angst, ambiguous morals, evil tendencies? Fun, fun fun. So I like romance in the Lord Byron Romantic sense of the word. And the regular kind works for me, too.
- Incorporating historical and cultural facts - I love some realism with my fantasy, and I totally geek out on these kinds of details.
- Missing scenes - I live for filling in the blanks.
