Blah blah My movie boyfriend blah blah
Aug. 1st, 2003 09:35 pmWell, The Ninth Gate wasn't that great story-wise. It was a bit disappointing, although I really liked that JD played a character quite a bit different from most of the roles he plays. And then there's the fact that he spoke French occasionally, which turned me into a puddle of goo. You know how in A Fish Called Wanda, Jamie Lee Curtis's character freaks over the foreign language thing? All I'm saying is that if I ever saw him in a French subtitled movie, I might go into a coma.
lilithj assures me that the book from which Ninth Gate is taken (The Club Dumas) is quite good, so I might have to check it out. After I finish reading my latest guilty, guilty pleasures - three BtVS/Angel novels checked out from the library. From the teen section. Such guilty pleasures. :P
I also watched Monk (which I just adore) and a few Star Trek:TNG's (also checked out from the library - good gods, but I lurve my library!) tonight, this last weekday of freedom, as I must report to work on Monday. Bleh.
