I'm taking an Excel Basics class today away from my office. Computer lab = whee!

The basics are pretty basic, but I have a lot of gaps in my knowledge, so I am learning some really good tips and tricks. But there are many pauses as the instructor helps out folks for whom this is all brand new and confusing. Thus I surf the 'net.

It's very cold in here. It's helpful with keeping me awake and alert. Ish.

I'm almost done with Lords and Ladies by Pterry. I've read the whole Lancre witches series on my commute lately. I do so enjoy these books, and this one especially. Nanny Ogg is my favorite, although I adore Esme, as well. This book develops all of their characters so well. Also, the juxtaposition of wizards and witches is most entertaining. Headology rocks.

I think I'll pick up his latest at the library for my next book. I do enjoy Pratchett's style.

I adore the witch books - the guards books will always be my favorites of Pterry's because they got me into Discworld, but all the Shakespearean and folktales allusions? LOVE THEM :D

Witch's Abroad is mighty clever. I loved the spin on fairy godmothers in that one.

Also, Greebo. HEE HEE HEE.

Oh yes. I love Magrat, too, with great love. Nanny and Esme are the ones I draw tiny hearts all over, though.
