Apr. 23rd, 2008 09:04 pmNow for something much less controversial!
I really, really liked last night's episode of Reaper, although I could care less about the romantic angle going on. I'm much more interested in Lucifer and Sam (not in a slashy way, ew). I was glad to see the mythology deepen with the rebellious demon's conspiring against their former master. And the whole part about Lucifer's love of God? That took me by surprise. I didn't expect the show to go to that depth of feeling.
Rome continues to intrigue. I'm on episode 4, and Octavian's all grown up. His eyes scare me a little, Sophie.
Anyway, so, so glad the children were found, although AIIEEE. Poor dears. I kind of wanted Atia to get poisoned. She's gotten way over the top, and even more utlra-violent than the rest. This felt very much like a forced transition episode, which I am guessing was because of cancellation news and the like? It was good, but not nearly as compelling as some of the others have been.
