Feb. 17th, 2008 01:35 pmAdam was creepy, and not as cohesive as it could have been. I did like the Jack flashbacks, though, and the Ianto/Jack moments. I'm tired of Tosh getting screwed with, especially after episode 3, which was heart-breaking. Enough of breaking her, okay?
Reset was much better. I find it interesting that they're getting into how humans will victimize aliens, instead of just the other way round all the time.
But see, I have a serious problem. I love Martha. I mean, I love her. Much, much better of a companion than Rose, and look at her, still kicking ass and taking names. The idea that she's working for UNIT is so cool.
If they killed Owen to make space for her, though, then I have some issues. The dynamic is too much like "Jack's Angels" with three women, even with three strong, interesting female characters. I liked Owen so much.
And again, stop breaking Tosh's heart. Grr.
I'll still watch, though. I do like this show a great deal.

Date: 2008-02-17 10:36 pm (UTC)OH MY GOD SO MUCH WORD. D: D: D:
(I watched these two right before we watched SPN on Thursday. AHAHAHAHAHA.)
I... do not think they have killed Owen off permanently, because of that scene in "Adam" where Jack did the regression therapy wossface thing. Jack is going to do whatever the fuck he can to bring Owen back, short of fucking with the timestream. Is my bet. We'll see him again.
Also, sldkfjsldkjf the Doctor recommended Martha to work for UNIT. <33333333333!!!!!!!!

Date: 2008-02-17 11:28 pm (UTC)I know, right? He probably rang up the Brigadier in his retirement and said, "Hey! You need this young lady!"
Oh good. I hope they haven't killed him off permanently. He's such an unlikeable character in so many ways, yet he's just- he fits. He's needed. And I loff him!
