Memin' and schemin'

vivienI will not read the spoilers. I will not read the spoilers. I really, really, really will not read the spoilers. I am so excited.
Wonderful Roommate just created an incredible Minerva hat. She is going to look soooooo cool Friday. I decided I'm going to be Professor Sinistra. It was either her or Professor Vector.
Why did I never even know of the wondrousness that is Pride and Prejudice? I watched the first part of the miniseries (with Colin Firth as Darcy - mmm, he puts the B in Brooding sexuality) last night and I'm so hooked. I never read any of those books when I was a teen - totally missed the boat on Little Women, Sense and Sensibility, all of the "what every young girl should read" books. And hey, lookit, a whole summer of reading ahead of me.

1. Newspapers or magazines?
Newspapers. I love reading the paper in the morning.
2. Books-on-tape or regular books?
Regular books
3. Paperback or hardcover?
Paperbacks are not as heavy to drag back and forth
4. Fiction or non-fiction?
Mostly fiction
5. Sci-Fi/Fantasy or romance novels?
Sci-Fi/Fantasy.
6. Borrow from library or buy books (either new or used)?
I can't afford to buy too many books nor do I have room ffor them. I go to the library at least once a week though.
7. Subscribe to magazines or buy on newsstand?
Again with the can't afford. We do subscribe to a few magazines though. With the cut rate deals ;)
8. Current best-sellers or classic literature?
Kinda neither.
9. Read books once, or re-read favorites every so often?

10. Here in the U.S., we have two hot best-sellers...former First Lady Hillary Clinton's memoirs, and the new Harry Potter book (coming out June 21). If you had to read one, which one...Hillary or Harry? Why?
Harry - I am not really interested in Hillary.

Oh man, I just realized (stupidly) that I really am going to have to go AU with my fics. Damn my slow, lazy hide. Oh well. They will get done at some point.
