vivienI am getting Laryngitis again. Grrrr! This makes me literally insane, and it actually hurts quite a bit. There's this dry, raspy, ow ow ow feeling in the back of my throat, and it hurts to make noises. I looked up what to do to help it - rest your voice is just about the only thing to do. Stupid profession in which I have to use my stupid voice all of the time. I need one of those personal microphone amplifier systems. Seriously.
I am also having Lack of Icon Making Ability trauma. My graphics programs are thwarting me at every turn okay, they always had, cos they are card making ones for the most part. I do have PhotoSuite, but it is making me grumpy in my inability to resize things after I compose. I need Phot Shop, I guess, but what if I still can't make my little Tom and Spike icons with that? Oh the woe and torment.
See, now that's an icon I want to make, too. Damn my incompetence. Anyhoo, Smallville was actually better than I thought it was going to be. Alhtough Clark is a big idiot. I don't like Lana, but for Chirssakes, man, kiss her already. Wasn't Lex pretty in the scene with little clone girl? Mmmm, pretty Lex. And Lionel, wow - what a bastard. I love Lionel.
Sometimes I wish I was a BNF. Not often, but I guess it's the egomaniacal side of me. Gilderoy and I would get along nicely.
Ok, off to watch Angel.

Date: 2003-05-07 08:30 pm (UTC)Photoshop is a huge program and very expensive, but you can do almost everything (and more than I would ever need to do) it can do with Paint Shop Pro, which is only $100. I've used it for years, and highly recommend it. It seemed really common sense, too, when I first picked it up, and I had had trouble with Photoshop up at school when I tried it.
