It seems like just a little while ago you were little Bead on the OBSSE list ;) You are just the bees knees, dear, and I hope you have a wonderful 25th year.
I had a great day today - Snorri loved the LotR chess set. We haven't played yet, but will tomorrow. All of the pawns are Sam. This made me chortle. Merry and Pippin are knights which is very cool (this the RotK version, I guess). You can even see the seven stars and the white tree on his tunic. The Witch King of Angmar is a nancy boy (he's the black queen).
Met up with the TNGC plus Mr. Anamazonruns and we all had a pleasant afternoon of book looking, coffee drinking, and sushi eating. I leaped a giant hurdle and actually ate the raw fish version of sushi for the first time (I had only eaten California rolls before). The salmon rolls were yummy, and I even liked the one tuna roll I tried. But not as much as the salmon.
Back at home, Snorri and I watched Bend it Like Beckham, which was very cute. I was bummed cos we had planned to watch Lost in Translation, but it was out at both video stores near me :( Maybe tomorrow night.
I meant to send everyone an email valentine, but I just didn't get to it. I love youse guys, though. All my HoE buds - I miss you guys and soooo wish we could all get together again. All my HP friends, I look forward to your posts and your fics every day.
