Feb. 13th, 2004 10:19 pmUnless a meteor crashes through the apt. in the next hour and a half, I evaded any Friday the 13th nastiness. Woo hoo!
Hurrah! Tomorrow, coffee at the Tattered Cover with TNGC, who I haven't seen as a girls only unit in two miserably snowy weeks. I am much looking forward to seeing you guys. And shopping!
I told Snorri I had a Vday present for him and he sadly and sheepishly said he hadn't gotten me anything. I then told him I'd bought the gift partly for myself, so all was good ;) I have no Vday expectations of him since we both decided long ago that Vday was a horribly contrived holiday. Besides, we usually do the schmoopy stuff for our anniversary on St. Pat's Day. And good googlymoogly, it's 11 years next month.
This is just too funny. It's called "The Field Notebooks of the Ring". Frodo as graduate student specializing in geology. Go read, then giggle.
