(no subject)

This could have been a pity party post - would have been, had I not stopped to count my blessings. And to realize I have a) PMS and b) school/work induced exhaustion. Suffice it to say that the day started off with a happy fun time skid through an intersection (where my angels worked overtime and made sure there were no cars in either lane beside me, and everyone else in the intersection stopped and went around me), I was late to my first class at 4:00 - which is just too damn early for working people - mostly due to insane traffic and I'm stressing about asking to leave earlier, and I am having my usual "Ohmygod I'm going into serious debt and what if I don't get a good job because I suck and I'll be wiping up kids' milk spills for the rest of my sad life" freak out.

I think this was brought on partly by purchasing my shiny and costly new version of Macromedia Studio MX 2004. Professional edition. And I'll actually get taught how to use it. Go student loans!!!!

But then I got home, got food, and remembered that I am a very lucky person in many of the most important ways, and things will get better. The economy can't suck forever. Right? Right? (crickets, crickets)

And if nothing else, I have friends, family, books and movies I love, and the Internet. But man, it was a craptacular Monday. I'm thinking a hot bath is in order before bed. I've already had the chocolate I so desperately needed. ;)

So now that I've read my Friends pages, I see that the entire country is in the cold grip of evil wintery weather. How bizarre. No more snow!!!!

Golden globes related: I so saw the huge hug of Dom and Elijah. I am in the special hell, but not as deeply as some of you ;)
