Exhausted and thankful... that sums me up.

I am attempting to limit my Christmas spending to less than $300 (since that's all I've got), and I whipped through my list today and just might make that goal. I'm so tired! The shopping wasn't bad; not that crowded except for the one mall. But still, it was shopping and walking and tugging packages of bargainy bargains. I'm almost done except for the making of presents - I'll need a couple more items, and I'll be completely finished. Luckily, my family is pretty easy to shop for, so I make my list, check the circulars, and hit the stores with little pain.

T-day was nice and quiet. Very lovely. And full of thanks. Seriously :)

I occaisionally drift over to this cool community: urban_decay. I've always been fascinated by old things, old houses - growing up in a small N.C. town full of old homes, some moldering, some not - I was always looking through trees on rides through the country side looking for old houses set back in the trees. I've always wanted to go inside an old farm house or a mansion falling to ruin, but I never have. Luckily there are people who have, and they will post the pictures. This site is amazing - it is run by a British man who explores abandoned hospitals, sanitariums, and the like. Check it out - it is very cool.
