Vivien + Bubble bath + Nap = OT3...

Of course, considering the nap is occurring in the bath... P. does come in to check periodically, so I don't fear drowning.

The Oscars were so meh. I enjoyed Chris Rock, and I was pleased with the winners, but it was very flat. I missed the montages. Those are fun. Jamie Foxx winning was a highlight, though. I was so glad he won - and I loved that Morgan Freeman finally won, too.

Johnny Depp looked pretty. As did Kate Winslet. But other Oscar fashion was pretty underwhelming.

Meh.

I thought Cate Blanchett looked gorgeous (as always). I saw that some people were complaining that she was all washed out, but she was dressing in the style of Old Hollywood with pale face makeup and bright red lipstick in homage to ol' battleaxe Kate. I thought she looked FABULOUS, but I'm a crazy fangirl for her.

I actually thought it was much better this year than usual. I like the pacing, the putting groups up on stage together, doing parts from in the audience, actually SHOWING the technical award winners there with their Oscars. I even liked Chris Rock. But yeah, I did miss the montages too.

I also thought the tribute to the deceased was really nicely done.

I could have done with 66% less Beyonce, though.
