vivienToday was much better, by the way. New kid had a better day, my voice wasn't lost, and Advil liqui-gels are my friends.
Snorri bought the Live Aid DVD. We were watching it Tuesday night when I wasn't on-line. Gasp! Paying attention to my husband? I know, I know, it's a crazy notion :P Seriously though, we watched several acts, including the U2 with "Bad" - I remember watching that and being blown away. I am still blown away. So can't wait for the new CD. Then we realized that Live Aid was almost twenty years ago. *weeps* How can time pass so quickly? And how can so much not change in all that time?
I recommend the DVD - it's an amazing collection of music, a cool time capsule (OMG the amusement of the 80's hair and clothing alone is worth the price), and a good cause (the money goes to the African charities that have continued all this time.)
