It is a beautiful autumn day here, and I am happy to find that I'm going to be able to enjoy it. I am still sad, but it is much more bearable now.

I enjoyed an evening at the Brown Palace, sitting in the atrium enjoying elegant drinks for a friend's birthday. I had, per silveraspen's suggestion, a Blue Dragon. Absolut mandarin, blue curacoa, and sweet and sour mix. Lots o'liquor for little Vivien. I was pretty much trashed for a good two hours which was perfect. And no hangover in the morning! I like my drinking habits.

Tonight the gang is dressing up and heading out for a haunted house and then spoooky flicks after. I plan to stay home all day tomorrow though, spending time with Paul, and, ahem, my on-line crack. What? He'll be watching football anyway!

So this is a good weekend. If I can get any of the homework I ignored all during the week done. Sigh. My magic eight ball says "Not looking good"

...wah...

However, I have been bitten by some drabble bunnies. Maybe they will get written. I also need to finish my "Five Things that Never Happened to Tom Riddle" that I started so long ago. Alas... for more time and motivation...

I get this now too... once I was able to drink a lot (like I could drink a good 750ml without getting too 'drunk' -- I was also bigger then), but now, really I get toasted really quickly, then two hours and some water later, I'm fine and no hangover (actually it can make me feel better since it also has the side effect of driving down my blood glucose). I always refer to that toasted state (with more than a nod to The Kids in the Hall) as "Girl Drink Drunk".

tigerlilyaj will be watching some games as well (Michigan vs. Michigan State; The Trojans vs. Washington State. I'll be scanning pictures I think.

Wheeeeee! How exciting! Yeah, I can totally play with him, as Anya or as Tom. We have cunning plans to break Tom a little tomorrow night anyway, so he might be all wavery for a while. Darn that House of Arch blood ritual - that changed him so that I can't make him have an evil relapse! But he can be mean and grumpy, by golly.

I'm still waiting on Moaning Myrtle to be approved so I can be annoying and have a goofy, unrequited crush on your Paul :P

It amuses me, really it does, about the freak outs the bad guys cause. *giggles* You have to have villains or there is no dramatic tension! And it's all pretend! PRETEND!

I will ping you sometime. I'm just so BAD about pinging - I always feel like I'm bothering the other person. But since you've offered... :)

Why yes, I do play Anya from Buffy. Her time period is right after she's died (a lot of dead folks and ghosts end up at Milliways). Andrew, Buffy, and Faith have also shown up from that time period, and Xander is there, but he's from right before he and Anya started dating. Which makes it tricky. It's fuuuuuuun.
