Oh my gosh, I can not express how happy I am with this interpretation of the HP universe.

Gary Oldman was perfect. Perfect perfect perfect.

Buckbeak was an incredible effect. Most of the time I notice computer generation, but I didn't at all this time.

There were hormones a' plenty going on with this flick. I can't wait for the fic to start rolling in. Especially (ducks head in shame for she's going to a special, special hell) Ron/Hermione/Harry - that was such an OT3 moment. What? Quit looking at me like that! I'll also say that Dan Radcliffe has turned out to be quite the handsome fella. In an underage, jail bait kind of way. The special hell burns and burns, just for me.

That was such a love letter that Draco swooshed over to Harry ;)

Remus and Sirius - their love is so canon. The old married couple quip? The whole "I'm a werewolf, people don't like my kind, I'm used to it"? So canon.

I loved, for the first time ever, the changes and cuts made from the book - it streamlined things without losing the essence of the story. Just think how freaking cool the Tom Riddle scenes would have been with Cuaron directing. Arg!

Trelawney - Emma is Trelawney. Perfect casting.

I really liked how the kids got to be thirteen-year-olds. Wearing jeans, goofing around in the dormitories... nice.

"Spiders!" The nightmare scene had me laughing and laughing. Cute, sweet Ron.

Snape - love my Snape. I especially loved how he jumps in front of the children at the first sign of danger. That's my Snape. Wretched and dispicable, but with honor.

The last parts with the soundtrack ticking - so cool.

Hermione rocks my world. But then you already knew that.

Oh, and I love new Dumbledore - he taps into the whimsy of the character, and he's so spry. All a good thing.

Marauder's map - cool, cool, cool.

Fred and George - OMG, teh hot! Such playas.

Sigh, so when can I see it again?
