I hate Mondays. As I read all the friends posts of people taking finals and worrying over credits and such (waves to Resmiranda), I look back with great longing to the college days of yore. People, love the finals. Love the credit hasles. Cos man oh man, it just gets more complicated and hassle-icious. But maybe that's just the Monday talking.
I got some Christmas cards done, I got all my packages packed and ready for the ordeal of the post office, and I didn't have time to write, and I really wanted to. Sigh. Plus I found out an old friend of mine's mother passed away suddenly over the weekend. I had just written her name on my Christmas card list. Very sad.
Blah. Coughing, but the Christmas tree is up. If I live through this week, I will have accomplished much - Wed. is our center wide Winter Festival (of Doom)- or three hours of chaos and Not-Christmas presents from charity organizations. Then the next day is our monthly field trip - field trips are always special circles of hell for me.
Wah, not enough time to read. Too much good fic, a new Chelsea Quinn Yarbro St. Germain novel, plus two other books I've started and want to finish. At this point Christmas break, while I look forward to it, is just a taunting hint of freedom.
