That sigh you here is that of a woman who has finished her big homework assignment (I think) plus her small ones, and can now kick back and relax for a weekend of fun fun fun! Woo hoo!
Now if I can just squeeze laundry in at some point, I'll be doing good.
I'm busily downloading the Billy wav files from the Gaming show. It's here.
This is a sickness, I tells ya, but I lurve hearing his voice.
I am also boiling chicken bones right now. Because I care. Heh - we're studying dinosaurs, and I am bringing in some real bones for the kiddies. It'll be a nice "ewwww" factor for them.
In other Tolkien news, I got the unabridged FotR on CD from the library. It's narrated by the same narrator who did The Hobbit, and I don't love the narration, but it's kind of cool to be listening to the words. I'm such a geek - I find myself saying certain lines with the narration.
Also I'm reading The Return of the Shadow, in the History of Middle Earth series, which is a collection of the first drafts of LotR. It's fascinating to see how the story developed, but I'm so so so glad Tolkien didn't keep the original names of the characters. Bingo Baggins just doesn't cut it ;)
Wheeeee! I'm so happy it's the weekend.
