Hello, kind author! Thank you for writing a yuletide treasure for me. I appreciate your time and creativity.

I'm a pretty laid back recipient. I don't really have any triggers. I love world building and cool in-character conversations. My favorite characters are complex with lots of layers and motivations for doing what they do. Morally ambiguity is a bulletproof kink, and if you write me a story with interesting women and/or girls being awesome, I'll love it.

I enjoy both smut and fade-to-black and gen fic all the same. I'll enjoy what you feel comfortable writing, in other words, so don't feel you have to meet any kind of expectation in that regard.

I do have some annoyances I'd rather not run into: slash for the sake of slash, erasure/diminishing of female characters to make way for said slash, MPREG, extreme violence, torture, and/or gore, and spelling, punctuation, and grammar mistakes beyond the one or two that can slip through beta reading. I'm not a huge fan of AUs. I like canon, even if it needs a little fixin' sometimes.

Specific fandoms:

When I saw this was on the list, I cackled with delight. I'd love some realistic American wizarding world-building. How would life be for the witches and wizards in that community? I don't want to see any big names from Hogwarts crossover, but mention of familiar names, institutions, and features of the English wizarding world would be fine. What I thought when I read this prompt was how different Tom Riddle's story would have been if he was a person of color coming up through that kind of school system. Your inspiration can certainly be different, but that is just an idea I wanted to share. Original characters are perfectly fine with me.

I'd rather you not make fun of the kids and their situations, for all of our sakes. I recognize that this could be a sensitive story where language and perceptions are concerned.

I like Xanthippe a lot. I like Titus a lot. I like Kimmy a lot. I especially like it when they are over the top ridiculous and/or heart-warming. You don't have to write all three of them in the same story, necessarily, although that would be amazing.

I am one of the many, I'm sure, who'd love to know more about the Vuvalini. Origin stories, missing scenes, post-canon stories, I'd be satisfied with any further glimpses. I enjoy dystopian universes, and I expect them to be harsh and unpleasant places, especially for women, so write what needs to be written (but warn for others who might be bothered, of course).

(If Capable or Nux appeared anywhere, I certainly wouldn't be sad. They are my favorites.)

I adore this movie. Adam and Eve are compelling characters. I'd love to know more about Eve - who she was before she turned, glimpses of her past, how she met Adam. I raised myself on Ann Rice vampire sexings, so feel free to let the bites happen and blood flow if any steamy parts happen.

This first season was an excellent one - except for the whole fridging of Shayla. That was weak writing, and it really marred the plot, in my opinion. If you want to do a fix-it AU to bring her back, or just show her happy and content with (or without) Eliot towards the end, I'd be happy. I shipped those two big time, but mostly I just want good things for poor Shayla. I hate how things ended for her.
