We watched Blink and then watched The Time of Angels last night. I just rewatched the latter for the details I'd missed.

I adore Eleven. Here is what is funny; he seems older, actually, than either Nine or Ten. I mean, in a fussy, old fellow kind of way. He reminds me very much of Tom Baker's Four.

Amy rocks my world. the_croupier noted that the Doctor-Amy relationship is very much a big brother-little sister one, and I agree. "Are you Mr. Grumpy Face", indeed. They are fun in a way I don't remember in any other Doctor-Companion relationship. I like her smarts, I like her sass, and I like her.

River. Oh, River. I agree with the_croupier again; it would be brilliant (and make a lot of sense) if she turns out to be the Rani. Whoever she is, she is made of snarky awesome, and I love how the Doctor is a little weirded out by her.

And then there are the angels. HEE HEE HEE. Creepy fabulousness. They don't scare me, but they make for some fine suspense, and I like the idea of image as the source of power. Hi, pop culture and fandom meta!
