I did do some homework tonight before wasting my time on-line.
Lookit! I was called back for this Learning Resource Coordinator position. I have to call Monday cos the lady wasn't in. Promising, eh? Any idea what questions I'd be asked in the interview?
The fannish five
1. What celebrity would you turn into a complete and utter fangirl/fanboy if you met them in person?
Well, before StarFest, I would've said, "Oh, probably wouldn't do that." After StarFest, I'll say pretty much anybody. I think I wouldn't go gibbering around Neil Gaiman though - through his blog I feel more comfortable with him than any other celeb.
2. What is the MOST fannish thing you have on public display in your home? In your office?
I have all my little action figures set out in the living room. Buffy and X-Files and Harry Potter.
3. What is the most public space you've read fic? Did anyone notice?
I read "Pawn to Queen" at school, in my classroom, on my school provided lap top. But only during planning periods and lunch. When I was gone from the staff room for days in a row, I told my colleagues I was rereading Goblet of Fire.
4. What is your most embarrassing moment when you had to explain something fannish to a mundane?
Um, actually at class we did these Power Point intros and mine focused on my sci fi interests and X-Files love as being the reason I am so attracted to the technology instruction field. Everyone else talked about their husbands and children. Oh well ;) I did mention my husband.
5. Name a fannish moment for which you wish you could have a "do over" and fix.
When we met Michael Rosenbaum at StarFest, I wish I had not gone into gibbering mode and forgotten to take pictures.
