Poopy economy
Aug. 19th, 2003 04:26 pmI got a new version of the "no thanks, you suck" job rejection today. The school district instituted an immediate hiring freeze, and the position I interviewed for will likely be filled by someone within district. Oh well. I was excited about the better salary and benefits, but not so excited about the actual teaching part. I think that means it's time to get out.
In the meantime, my new motto is "suck it up". I've been complaining and moaning and kvetching waaaay too much. I will now SIU and think of good stuff. Like how I found one of my recommended texts at the library and I'll get to read it before I decide whether to buy it or not. Woo hoo! I have one textbook already that I need to get through Amazon - I'll find out tomorrow whether I need another.

Noooooo!

Isn't there some kind of golden grant from heaven that would allow you to go to school full time and still support your family? Maybe snorri can crochet silk toilet paper for the rich?
