Stupid AOL. Stupid Livejournal.
Jul. 11th, 2003 09:38 amFor some reason, LJ won't work on AOL - I try to sign in and it freezes up. I finally got to work through Internet Explorer. So have memes!
Sigh, I go at 12:00 for an interview at Gateway computers for a training job. It's a part time, nights and weekends gig, and while it would be really cool and look great on my resume, I don't think I'll be able to do it with grad school and a full time job. I applied on a lark, and was seriously surprised when they called.
Now if I took it, I could try to find a .5 kindergarten position, but there is no guarantee, and I don't want to go through training and then have to quit. Plus it's an 18 mile round trip from my house to the store, so it would be miserable when it snowed. I think having class two nights a week is going to keep me plenty busy. But, hey, good interviewing experience.
So to boost my resume, I'm thinking about contacting the library to see if I could volunteer to do computer tutorials. I don't know if they do that or not, but I could tach people how to do Internet searches and the like.
Okay - fun stuff:

Threat rating: Low. You are annoying, but too much
of a softy tree hugger to pose any threat to
the mighty machine of Republican progress. And
the FBI know where you live.
What threat to the Bush administration are you?
