Ug. I really meant to get up on time and go to church today. But... I just plain didn't. Next week I will try to get on a less sloth-like schedule.

RP last night was SO MUCH FUN, though. I hadn't enjoyed it that much in quite a while.

Also, I finally finished Wheel of Time book five. Oh Moiraine. How you rock. She is just incredible, but poor Lan. I really felt for him. Nynaeve was also right there with the kicking of Forsaken ass. I'm liking Egwene a little less than I used to, which makes me sad. Mat is getting even better though. I really like his characterization. I feel sorry for Rand, though. His position is not an enviable one. I do enjoy this series, even if it takes me forever to read each book.

Oooh! You should check your local library for WOT audiobooks. The readings are well done by a man/woman team, and I like to listen to them while I do house work. I've only gotten through book four, but it goes faster listening to them than reading them,. because I can get other things done at the same time.

the series is totally worth working your way through every book carefully, so take your time! you'll like egwene better later. perrin is my fabourite though.... so much so that when we had our choice of flower shops for our wedding, i chose the one called "perrin's" for no good reason at all. :P

I love the Moiraine-Lan(-Nynaeve)(-Rand) dynamics in all that book, and oh, that scene. I adore it. (With a certain masochism, obviously, but this is nothing new. And I love it even aside from all RP stuff.)

And poor Rand. I really like him a lot in book 5; he's coming into his own more by then, I think. And becoming increasingly better equipped to deal with all the horrible stuff he needs to, even if it's awful that he does have to.

Egwene gets lamer for a while, but then she turns AWESOME again.
