vivienI have been crazy busy lately. But tonight I rest. And do laundry. And interviews!

1. What attracted you to SS/HG at first?

twinkledru who brought up the ship on Mutant1013 the summer before last. After reading Goblet, I'd been really intrigued by Snape and his past - all of a sudden he became three dimensional. So when she mentioned this story called Pawn toQueen by Riley, I checked it out and was immediately sucked in.
2. What is the most useful object that has ever been given to you as a gift?
A robe. A long, green, soft, terry cloth robe. I lurve it.
3. What is one of your hobbies that you gave up a while ago, but wish to return to?
Genealogy - I have four messages from genforum in my in box right now that need to be checked. I lost all my data on one of the genealogy programs in a crash awhile back (I have it all on paper) and just haven't had the energy or inclination to restore it all and pursue more leads. It's lots of fun - kind of like a mystery to solve, but it does tae the right mind set. I also work on so many lines and family names that I really have to concentrate on who is who, and who was when. My family is slightly easy to research cos I have some great surnames: Easterling, Dunahoo, Seibert, Hightower, Pursley, and Peden to name a few, as well as hard as anything names like Thompson and Brady. Goin nowhere fast with those, let me tell you.
4. Do you obey the speed limit? Why or why not?
Most of the time I do. Or if I don't I go maybe 5 miles over. Cos I am a little old lady driver in a 33 year old body.
5. Cats or dogs, and why?
I only have cats now because I believe dogs need yards and I don't have a yard. I love both beasts though. I love my kitties, but I would love to have a big ole slobber dog to hog the couch.
