Still awake.

I got a nice review for Endings and Beginnings, my forlorn Regaining sequel from textualsphinx !?! I couldn't believe it. Then I reread the two chapters so far to try to jumbstart my creative promise, and I really couldn't believe it. I misspelled McGonagall. Was I on crack? The story is horrid. I can't believe I published that dreck.

I almost deleted the whole thing from FF.Net, but felt that since it's almost 2:30 am, that might be lack of sleep rashness. I have had some thoughts about the next part, so Tom and Minerva might have to wait a bit. Or actually, older version of Minerva will get to step up, cos both the stories are going to dovetail nicely together.

I can't believe I misspelled McGonagall.

Shudder.

Most of us are willing to forgive a few bloopers from good authors, one of which, you certainly are.

Never, never, delete text or stories or novels or whatever at 2am. That's never a good idea. You'll alway beat yourself up over it in the morning.

I had to write out McGonagall several times to drill the spelling into my head. Ollivander(?) or is it Olivander(?) is still giving me fits. (According to LJ spellcheck, it really should be Oleander.)

...runs off to the lexicon to check spelling of names...

I didn't delete the story - but I am still going to rewrite it drastically. But maybe not tonight. I'm pooped from the whole not sleeping and reading your work when the seratonin levels are much too low to bear it. :P

Oh cool, Dorothy - I can't wait to read it. I was pleased we were matched. While taking part in these challenges is fun, I was quite a bit afraid I might get a squicky topic.
