I used to love to
write Haiku poetry when
I was a young girl.

It's damned hard to read
on friends' posts and such though...
Well, only one day ;)

It was a good 4th of July. When you're on the 8th floor wraparound patio of a downtown skyscraper, you get to see so many beautiful glittery fireworks in any direction, all around the city, almost. And when you're really close to Mile Hi Stadium, you get to see an incredible show for free with no traffic or crowds of people to fight.

I also learned how to play lose at Texas Hold Em. Stupid card games and gambling. It didn't help that I drank a White Russian as we played.

Yes! I finished my
Good Omens story tonight!
Twenty-eight pages!

And that's it for my mad haiku skillz ;) But wow, 28 pages? And in 12 pt. type, at that, so it's not like it was big type. Now it's at the beta, and I think it has some really good parts.

Now I sketch out my next one for the Psalm challenge.
