Trying to stay awake

Of course by a reasonable time to go to sleep, I will probably be wide awake.

I am very very annoyed that AOL has blocked LJ mail. So if I don't answer you, that's why. Not that I have a ton of comments or anything, but it's still annoying.

OH! I watched Deep Impact today! What a great movie - way better than Day After Tomorrow. Elijah was just so determined. And cute. The astronauts were very cool - I liked that storyline. And Tea Lionni can act - who knew? Morgan Freeman - I want him as president. The flooding of NYC was much more striking, even though it was much shorter than Day After Tomorrow. It was chilling to see the Statue of Liberty crashing under the waves, but it was even more so to see the Two Towers standing above the waves.

I'm sad I didn't get to see this in theater, but this was in the long dark times before I had cool friends in Denver to go to the movies with (waves at silveraspen.

Hey, look at that. 9:30 - I could go to sleep, but ha! I'm feeling more awake. Stupid sleep patterns.
