There are nice people in the world!

Today was my first day to park at CU to go to class. There is no free parking. I fumbled my way into the correct parking lot, found a great place, and then saw someone in a van behind me beckoning - I think "oh shit, is this the wrong lot? Do I need some special permit?" The lady in the van gave me her parking receipt, saying she always does it as a matter of principle when she leaves, since it's such a rip off to pay for parking. Was that nice or what? So now I have a bit more moolah for dinner - at the Student Union. Snicker. I am reliving my youth :)
