I watched From Hell yesterday, which I like quite a bit - and not just cos my movie boyfriend is in it. It's a shame it didn't get as good reviews as it should've. Today is The Ninth Gate, which I haven't seen. So now heading to new Johnny territory. Geez, what a fangirl.

This is kinda cool - from Autumnmist's again.

Well, I just went and added friends like a crazy person. But seriously, they were mostly people I've seen on other journals and thought "I need to get around to friending those folks" Sigh. Like I'm not going to have enough to keep me busy this next few months.

Okay, I'm getting offline NOW to go over what I've written.

By the way, [livejournal.com profile] silveraspen has looked over my work in the past, but she's up to the eyeballs. I need a beta, and I need one who will be really stringent to catch my goofs and tell me how to make things better. Anyone want to volunteer? I might even ask for you to take a look at the whole of Strange and Wondrous(Tom/Minerva WIP) and Endings and Beginnings (Regaining sequel, vague SS/HG WIP). I'd love you and make you virtual chocolate chip cookies! Mmmmm....chocolate chip cookies....

Well, The Ninth Gate wasn't that great story-wise. It was a bit disappointing, although I really liked that JD played a character quite a bit different from most of the roles he plays. And then there's the fact that he spoke French occasionally, which turned me into a puddle of goo. You know how in A Fish Called Wanda, Jamie Lee Curtis's character freaks over the foreign language thing? All I'm saying is that if I ever saw him in a French subtitled movie, I might go into a coma.

[livejournal.com profile] lilithj assures me that the book from which Ninth Gate is taken (The Club Dumas) is quite good, so I might have to check it out. After I finish reading my latest guilty, guilty pleasures - three BtVS/Angel novels checked out from the library. From the teen section. Such guilty pleasures. :P

I also watched Monk (which I just adore) and a few Star Trek:TNG's (also checked out from the library - good gods, but I lurve my library!) tonight, this last weekday of freedom, as I must report to work on Monday. Bleh.
