Random fandom swooning

I have been waning a teensy bit on my Smallville fannishness. I think there hasn't been enough Lex lately. He's usually Exposition Guy - he walks in, advances the plot, and walks out. Also, while it is a very pretty show to watch, it's not the best written show out there.

I think this s partly due to the fact that Buffy has been so strong (for me) this season. I have been so worried - since my Death-of-the-X-Files-Damn-You-To-Hades-Chris-Carter scars are still visible - that Buffy would go the same way, but thank goodness, it hasn't yet. I still have faith in Joss, even though some of the foreshadowing is not looking good for some of the characters. It is difficult to think that this might be it. The last season. No more new episodes ever. When the X-Files stopped, it was like "Oh thank God - it's over." I will be sad when Buffy stops. Thank goodness for fan fic.

By the way, I was listening to Tori (new album is quite lovely, by the way) the other day, and I thought that "Crucify" would make a nice Spike/Buffy video. Pity I have neither the technology nor the skills to make one ;) Maybe one day.

OK, I've been online a long time now. Oh what the hell, it's Saturday.
