So a Super Kmart is closing soon near me. I scored some fabulous bargains today. Three shirts and two pairs of shoes for less than $20. One shirt is cutesy for work - Eeyore and Piglet, or P and me in my own little interpretation of life ;) One is a basic white that I can wear my silk ties with if I so choose. And one is a Christmas one with Mickey Mouse and Pluto - again, I work with children; I can get away with this.
The shoes I wouldn't have been able to get were it not for my status as a vertically challenged small person. My shoe size is 5 or 5 1/2 depending on style/maker. I can wear size 3 in childrens quite comfortably. Childrens' shoes are much cheaper than grown up shoes. So I have two pairs of Thom McCan leather Mary jane-ish style shoes. They aren't little girl looking at all though. I am most happy with my teensy feet.
