Today I was trounced in tic tac toe by a five-year-old. She's a smart one, one of my very favorite girls who's been in my class two years (she started as a four-year-old).

The first time I wasn't paying attention. The second time I was. The third time I tried to beat her. no luck. She said, "I'm really good at this game."

Yes, little one, you certainly are. She is a smart kiddo, but dude... I mean, she beat my socks off.

I'll miss that kind of thing when I leave.
