Whee, what a fun fun fun weekend. I've been at [livejournal.com profile] silveraspen's for a sleepover since [livejournal.com profile] minor_blue is in town for a visit. My poor husband, abandoned so... with his two tv's and his baseball package a' going. *rolls eyes*

Anyway, we had Indian last night (I had chicken saag, James) and then watched some of Revolutionary Girl Utena. Which I get! Sort of. In a cracktastic way. Playing with Anthy at Milliways makes it required watching if one is trying to make sense of the poor girl in RP.

Today it was lunch at the Boulder Rio (chicken tostada and margarita for me, James :P) and then a trip to Lush where I SPENT FAR TOO MUCH MONEY. It's okay though cos I have a new job and our tax refund came in. Then we wandered about a bit and came back to Aspen's to watch a little more of Utena. *giggles*

So [livejournal.com profile] mctabby has her fic challenges every year. This year's consisted of a poll for subjects and then a 100 word drabble.

This is what I asked for and [livejournal.com profile] lazy_neutrino wrote it for me: Young Tom Riddle, insecurity, serious-ish, needful, alone, power, desire Whee, Tom/Minerva!

[livejournal.com profile] maeglinyedi wrote one that gave me shivers: The Sorting Hat wonders if it made a mistake.

Another Riddle drabble by [livejournal.com profile] mayhap: any Riddle pairing, absinthe and toast for breakfast

[livejournal.com profile] indy_go - you will love this Tonks one: the Tonks family - Andromeda, Nymphadora, Ted - family life etc

This is what I wrote: Crookshanks "borrows" Hermione's Time-turner

Wah... I have to go home and back to real life soon. Boo.

OOoo chicken saag, yummy, though I love pretty much any Indian food. I've been tempted to make tandoori tofu strips lately. And chicken tostada sounds good too... [livejournal.com profile] tigerlilyaj, Mr. X and I went out for breakfast I had huevos rancheros (like the good lost little member of Lone Gunmen I am) and Pookie and I split an order of arepas con queso y hamón and she also had these Argentinian crepes. Mr. X had a tiny taste of guacamole, but was very unimpressed and made crunchy-face. (Ditto for ponzu sauce that I made to accompany the deep frieded pork and ginger wontons I made for lunch.) At least for now I think X is going to stay with his current diet.

Lush is great, we love it too... I really like their soaps.

Hmmm, samosas are good... you might like some things that are less intensely spiced like pakoras (a friend refers to these are Unidentified Fried Objects), papadums, or maybe a jalfrezi. What genres of food agree with you better?

I pretty much love all food. As long as its good. I tend to travel a lot via my gullet; I like to experience different cultures that way, you are what you eat and all that.

Awww! I love the Tonks one! I adore her parents... even though we've never met them in canon. XD
