sir_gareth came into town yesterday, and since I knew we would be a) cavorting last night and b) scheduled to have a nice winter storm I packed an overnight bag and brought my laptop, just in case. There was cavorting. Much of it, and all of it fun. I had no drinks at the Wynkoop Brewery where we ate dinner, but then we walked to the Rio and I had a margarita. It was nummy. Not quite as potent as usual, but potent enough! I was in a super happy fuzzy mood. It started raining, and I was fuzzy so I decided to go ahead and stay the night, instead of driving. At 3:00 AM there was still no snow. When I woke at 10:00 AM there was much snow! I was going to drive home, but Paul told me to stay here - at my house further south there are white out conditions and even more snow - about 9 or 10 inches, he said.
So since Gareth can't drive anywhere (the interstates to the north, east, and south are closed) we are all still here! Yay!
It looks like it's slacking off somewhat now, and I ought to be able to drive home in a bit. Till then, we are having an unexpected geekend of fun!
