Gosh, guys, you really have no idea how much better you all made me feel today. Thanks a whole lot. It's been tough, but we are trying to pull out all the pictures and think about happy times with our sweet kitty. That has really helped.

So on to the happy shiny, because it does make me feel better.

"Lost" continues to blow me away. I am just so freaking impressed by the storytelling. Although tonight? (Don't worry, only the vaguest of spoilers) With Charlie and... um, ooh. I am afraid I don't remember the older man's name. But the whole last bit with those two made me think "This could be on a Milliways thread." The whole you'll get what you need if you make a sacrifice thing? Yeah.

Speaking of the Internet crack, I'm working on a sub-plot in which I haul out my very rusty linguistic skills and make comparisons between Parseltongue and its dragon derivative. I've decided P-tongue has to be a metaphor-based language dependent on sensory input. This is keeping my mind busy, a la my character, funnily enough. Usually Tom throws himself into some madly captivating project when in distress. Ah, like character, like mun... But, um, not that much like each other.
