My very first pro-football game!

dirk_the_daring and pteropod got tickets to the Bronco's first preseason game and asked silveraspen and me along! Now, I'm not a football fan, but I enjoyed the experience greatly. It was wonderful fall weather, complete with rain at the beginning of the 4th quarter (brrr!) and we won! And I finally cared enough to concentrate long enough to finally figure out how downs work. Snorri has tried, and failed, at this for years.

I had a sooper expensive hard lemonade and a sooper yummy bucket of cotton candy (no, I didn't eat the whole thing, and I complained loudly that at baseball games the cotton candy is fresh and comes on sticks.) I have to say, I think I prefer watching baseball to football. For one thing, when you're up in the prime Quidditch viewing seats, you can follow baseball a little better, in my opinion. Plus, the cotton candy is freshly spun and comes on sticks!

But it was such a fun time - I didn't even regret being unplugged from my favorite on-line obsession once! And lately, that's saying a lot. :P

Now I'm off to RP for real - my hobbit scout throws a wicked rock.
