Olympic ceremonies are always fun to watch. I liked the beginning - the makeup was very cool on the statues. The, ahem, bare chested, scantily clas male statues.

So it sucks to be me for purely ridiculous reasons. I dislike my job utterly. I don't want to be around children, much less teach two sessions of 18 each. Grad school class starts the 23rd and there will go more of my time. But I will be taking a Flash course, so that will be cool. I just need more time. If I didn't need to bloody sleep so much, things would be better. But alas. I'm an 8 hour a night kind of girl, and there's no way around that.

I will have to cut back my time at milliways, and that is the most unpleasant, most grumpy making decision I've faced in a long time. It is so enjoyable and creative for me to participate in this RPG, but I will soon have serious homework and the physical/mental fatigue of dealing with children who need so much. WAH. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.

I know, quit whining about something not that important, I know.

But if you knew how much I really had good cause to whine about in my life, you'd know why fantasy escapism makes me so happy right now.

Stop. Pity. Party. Now.

Me, too. It's really not that bad, and I shouldn't whinge, but we all need to vent every now and then. I mean, I have to visit the homes of the children I teach (low economic Head Start kids) and believe you me, I count every single blessing I have afterwards.
