vivienVacation = fun!
Stayed with best college friend, laughed and drank like crazy people.
Saw dear college friend I hadn't seen for years, hurray! He seems well and happy and wow, it was fun.
Went to old comic store hang out, had nostalgic warm fuzzies and bought 1st issue of new Books of Magic. Sucked back into the comic world for sure now.
Saw "Secret Window" - lame storywise, but chock full o' Depp. Yum.
Saw "The Heart of Me" - good British drama with Paul Bettany and Helena Bonham Carter (and yes, of course I was reminded of Aziraphale)
Great visiting with my mom - who thinks Milliways a) sounds like lots of fun and b) is good writing practice for me. In other words, I went for a few hours last night and played. Hurray for cool moms!
Ooh, and Mike Carey is turning Neverwhere into a comic adaptation this fall. Squee!
Okay, back to vacation.
