Ocean-Born Mary - oops, it's a New England instead of a Carolina legend. But still it leads to my next drabble. Which will really only be 100 words or less, I promise.

Yuletide fic done and uploaded.

Buffy featurettes watched. Buffy vs. Dracula watched, as well as bits of my favorite Spike episodes. I miss the Buffybot.

Thanks to vulgarweed I have now bookmarked the Mithril awards and found several stories that will not likely burn out my eyes if I read them. Am very excited.

I'd really like to go see RotK today, but I have other stuff I need to do. I kinda don't want to even think about packing for our trip Tuesday. Bleh.

I can't wait. But I must. Mom arrives tonight, then we will watch FOTR tomorrow night, then TTT sometime in the next few days, then ROTK not until the 27th! Augh!

thing one: i was just talking to flouritephoenix, gushing about my aztec gold obsession, and she mentioned that most of her friendslist was also appeasing the heathen gods. and lo and behold you all are, and i have liked all of your drabbles. just thought it was funny.

thing two: i actually read this post on my friendsfriends list and it led to me also bookmark the mithril awards, and i am very glad to have found some readable, thought provoking lotr fic. that will not burn out my eyes. *shudder*

I loved the movie. Knowing exactly when it was going to veer off track really, really helped both Susan and me. Plus it was just plain good - what was different mostly helped the story rather than hindered it. Mostly ;) And it was beautiful and exciting and, and, and... you'll like it. I'm going to see it with my mom too when I'm home.
