Happy squee squee happy
Nov. 20th, 2003 08:56 pmSo did I mention Wednesday is my favorite night of the week now? Oh happy day.
Okay, first of all at the beginning I was giggling "
lanning got jossed!
lanning got jossed!" It just reminded me a bit of her Lex/Clark series, in a very good way. I nfact I kept expecting them to kiss at any moment. Alas...
So I was very very glad that there was actually a conspiracy, even though I hoped it wasn't Lionel. I kinda wish there was a sincere bone in Lionel's body, and wishing his son crazy instead of dead is, I guess, sincere.
I thought TW actually did well with the acting tonight. However, Michael was sublime.
I really enjoyed the Johnny Cash at the end. It fit surprisingly well.
Poor Lex - I'm so worried!
Seriously though, the ho-yay was back in full force tonight.
Okay, what total vindication for the Spike fans out here. Finally, we see Spike get some credit for WINNING his soul, as opposed to it being thrust upon him. Maybe that's why he doesn't drown in torment like Angel.
Loved the continuity, loved the Buffy references, loved jealous Angelus - and hello slashy goodness!
Didn't love Eve. She is just so light weight. Sigh... I pine for Lilah. I pine, I tells ya!
The last scene was fun. I am glad Lindsey's back in the midst of things again. So hurray!
Okay, one more thing -this site is odd, but very funny: My Cat Hates You

Re: Angel
Date: 2003-11-21 05:14 pm (UTC)Rune marked hunk is Lindsey - one of the first of Angel's nemeses. He was a lawyer at Wolfram and Hart in the first three seasons. He bowed out of the game after some conscience twinges and falling in love with Darla, the newly brought back human sire of Angel. He and Lilah (who Eve is a sad, light weight copy of)were the suave, smart baddies. Lilah hasn't come back yet - that makes me sad. One of my friends
