Sigh... I miss Buffy very much, but man oh man, if one show was never meant to be Buffy, it is Angel. I really hate how the Buffiness of BtVS is being forced into the Angel set up. Quit trying so hard guys! Please! I did like it somewhat better in some ways. The snarkiness was good fun, but I hated that stupid mislead of "ooh is Spike bad?" I really really liked the last scene - that's the Spike and the angst and the good that should be on Angel.

And while I am highly nauseated by a Spike/Fred pairing on general purposes (although it's kinda like Spike/Willow which wouldn't have been awful), I can see why he would seek her out for help. Not only is she the "go to girl", but Spike has always dealt better with women. And speaking of, the scene when he first materialized broke my heart a bit. Until the stupid desk goofiness.

The forced humour isn't working. The dubbed sound of the voices is really distracting. Harmony was a bit annoying in a bad way this ep.

Gunn still is working for me. Hoo boy, I likes me some new, improved Gunn.

Please get better, Angel the Show.

One of my professors is a Buffy/Angel fan. It's kinda cool to chat with him about the show.


Okay, I really liked Smallville. I even (gasp, horror shock) liked Lana a bit more. And please, let the on again, off again between Clark and Lana just be off. Please?

Clark is not the brightest superhero to strut the stage. Here bad guys, let me show you exactly how to disable my super strength. It's easy once you get the hang of it. I mean, he could've a tleast been more subtle about it.

Lex, Lex, Lex... you are now crossing into the land of scary. Did you see how freaked out Lionel was withthat embrace. Ooh, things will be interesting!

And speaking of embracing, the Clex is out there. Sigh, that hug was just... well, let's just say I could imagine the squees heard round the world by the Clex crowd.

So hurray, at least Smallville is improving. I think the key is more Clex - that was what was missing most last season ;)

I have so much homework this weekend. But I realized that this week is midterm so oh my gosh - I'm half way through the semester. That is actually quite exciting.
