I did not even get that others (esp younger others) would not like Charlie until they started a thread about how the (exceptional, perfect, awesome) Billy Burke movie!Charlie brought them around from their hate for book!Charlie. I always got him.
Heh. Yeah. I think it's also because we're closer to his age. Hell, I think I am older than he is. You know you're grown up when you side with the parents in the teen movies. :-P
