I add my voice to the Dr. Who chorus.

Oh. My. God.

When I was eleven, I loved Dr. Who because the Doctor was awesome and his companions were even more so, to my mind. Strong, interesting women, some of whom knew what was what in this wide universe, and some who learned quickly as they went.

This episode reminds me why I have always adored Dr. Who.

Wow. I love Donna with great love. I even liked Rose more than I ever have (although does her speech sound a little weird - kind of lispy and slurred?). The whole dystopian universe created around her? The incredible acting made it shivery real to me, unlike any of the other storylines like last season's end.

Speaking of which, I assume Saxon was killed in the destruction of London? Otherwise we'd have heard of him, at least (or maybe I missed it).

And next week? Wow. Just... wow.

Re: Saxon - the Doctor and Martha never went to the end of the universe, so he never re-awakened as the Master.

Yeah I think it would mean that Harriet Jones was the PM for a while - until the Doctor says she looks tired, and then there's a blank spot. Now it's possible that Harriet Jones does three terms but I don't think so. And yeah, no Master since Martha didn't make it off the Moon without the Doctor.
