And Snorri has them on almost as much as baseball. It works for me.

Wow, that was the lamest MTV movie awards I've seen. The Beastie Boys sounded good, but man, they looked old ;) But everything besides Johnny was, well, not right. Including Dom's impromptu acceptance - that was a bit awkward (even though he was very scruffy and cute.)

I've had my nose in my laptop all evening rapidly devouring all the excellent "Good Omens" fic I can. WOW, am I enjoying this new (for me) fandom. The Sacred and the Profane by afrai is my latest "Guh...so so so good" rec. It is an AU WIP in which Aziraphale is the one who Fell. It is heartbreaking and fascinating.

I did not take my laptop to work today... But I did take printed out stories of my favorite daegaer fic. Which is something I've not done before - print out fic, I mean. I like it! I'll have to do it more often, because truly, some fanfic is of higher quality and meaning for me than many of the "real" books I've read. Go fanfic!

Speaking of which, just when I was thinking, 'All right, no more story ideas besides the two I'm working on. Phew. A creative breather.' when along come more characters who want my time and energy. WAH! Dumb brain. I even dreamed this one a bit to further the plot along last night. That's always cool, if a bit scary.

This weekend is becoming very vexing - plans for a 2nd viewing of PoA are being thwarted by busy schedules, and now Snorri has actually said he wants to go to our local Renaissance Fair Sat. Two weekends now in a row he has expressed the desire to leave his inner sanctum - my heart can't take the shock! Seriously though, it means that upping his pain meds is working. Hurray! So I'm thinking quality fun time with husband might just win out over PoA. I know, I know, where are my priorities? :P
